Christmas and the birth of Christ
Without question, Jesus Christ was born in the flesh, he grew as a human, and one day he died for our sins. The bible never tells us what day Jesus was born, nor does it encourage us to celebrate his birth. Jesus Christ is God who was manifested in the flesh as Jesus, so if God was in the beginning, we really can’t give the creator of the world a birthday. If this is so, then why is Christmas recognized as the day that Jesus was born? Today, we want to take the time to examine the origins of Christmas. Though some of the principles of Christmas seem wholehearted in nature, in reality, they are derived from customs associated with false god, or pagan worship.
