Register now for our Microsoft YouthSpark Summer Camp on Smart Game Coding for Beginners. This camp will be held each Wednesday from June 21- July 12, 2017 at 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, for ages 9-16. We look forward to seeing you there! Seating is limited.
Session Overview
Work with new friends and learn how to build and experiment with cool games and fun online sports activities in this camp for beginners. First learn how to use Turtle to move, turn, pick up objects and change speed on-screen. Then check out KoduMan, a robot in action, and find out how to make one. You’ll also get to code games on your own, like air hockey or minigolf. Next, try out games with other campers in a Coding Showcase. You’ll hear all about how to remix, create add-ins and improve player controls. If you want, feature your game on the Kodu Game Lab Community site for all to play. Learn even more by checking out some of the daily activities discussed in camp and others available on Microsoft’s YouthSpark Hub at www.YouthSparkHub.com.
